If your child is not yet old enough to read, we have a game that we use that substitutes for the regular eye chart. It's fun and accurate. A refractive assessment is the part of the exam where the exact prescription needed for our Chico children's eyewear is determined. Our eye doctor checks how well your child sees with various strength lenses. Once the prescription is written, our optical department puts it into a pair of eyeglass lenses. You and your child will then select a pair of frames to complete our Chico children's eyewear.
