The most common form of glaucoma, primary open-angle glaucoma, usually has no noticeable signs or symptoms in the early stages, when it can be easily treated. Treatment of glaucoma focuses on keeping the disease from advancing; unfortunately, vision loss to glaucoma cannot be restored.
